Thank you to everyone who joined the September 23 All Employee Call. I know the updates shared during our time together were significant, and I want to take a moment to reflect and reinforce what they mean for us as a team.

In July, Celina Philpot was announced as the CEO for the new Conexus Credit Union. At that time, it was communicated that Celina will need some time to begin the important work of shaping the future structure and plans for our new credit union. While she is busy doing that, we thought we would take this opportunity to help you get to know Celina.

Members of Conexus, Cornerstone and Synergy Credit Unions have voted last month in favour of merging, officially laying the foundation for a stronger, more resilient credit union dedicated to supporting a thriving Saskatchewan.

We are pleased to share an exciting milestone in our journey toward building a stronger, more resilient credit union for Saskatchewan! Following a successful member vote, Conexus, Cornerstone and Synergy Credit Unions will officially merge to form a new credit union on January 1, 2026.

We are thrilled to announce that the member vote on the recommended merger between Conexus, Cornerstone, and Synergy Credit Unions has been a resounding success! This pivotal moment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our credit unions and the communities we serve!

The vote was successful! Members voted in favour of the merger, marking an exciting moment in our credit union history. This begins a new and exciting chapter for our members and communities we serve.
We’re incredibly grateful for all the hard work and collaboration of teams coming together to get us to this point. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the effort from each of you over the last several months.

The voting period for the Together for a Thriving Saskatchewan recommended merger of Conexus, Cornerstone, and Synergy Credit Unions has officially begun.
May 6, 2025 – Voting period announced for Conexus, Cornerstone, and Synergy Credit Unions Recommended Merger
Conexus, Cornerstone, and Synergy Credit Unions are announcing that the voting period for the recommended Together for a Thriving Saskatchewan merger will take place from June 3 to June 13, 2025.
April 8, 2025 – Conexus, Cornerstone and Synergy Credit Unions Recommend a Merger to Members
Conexus, Cornerstone, and Synergy Credit Unions are thrilled to recommend a merger to members. After thorough due diligence, the Boards of all three credit unions have unanimously approved this recommendation. We believe that by working together we will create a stronger, more resilient credit union that remains member-focused and upholds our shared values.
